Titans plan for Hoggman

I laughed pretty hard when I saw Hoffman was playing 5/8th. He is absolute rubbish in that position. He will probably end up being in the 6 for a few weeks now given the injuries at the Titans. It'll be a barrel of laughs.

It doesn't help that the Titans are down to their last dummy half in Mortimer.

You'd have to think of Falloon, Srama and Moseley were available they would be able to cover the dummy half, allowing Morts to play 5/8 with Hoffy at centre.

As it stands, their best bet maybe playing Zillman at 6 with Hoffy moving to the centres. They still need to find somebody to play dummy half because I can't see Morts lasting the full 80 in the position but it should give them more direction and creativity.

To be fair, The Hoff scored a good winger's try near the end of the game.

For what it's worth I think the Titans should use him at dummy half if he refuses to play on the wing. It'll give him a bit of practice passing the ball for a change as even he isn't enough of a Ballhog McSupergluehands to run it three times a set. I hope.

Moseley played today, he came off the bench and got injured after ~10 minutes, they chose to start him off the bench, move Mortimer to Hooker, Hoffman to Five-Eighth & Mead to Fullback.

I'm aware of that, but the reason why Mortimer shifted to dummy half is because the likes of Falloon and Srama were unavailable and Moseley is seen as a bench specialist.

There unavailability means that Mortimer HAS to play dummy half and there is absolutely no room to move if the Titans need more direction.

Listening to the game on the radio, one of the commentators said "Hoffman is not really a passing kind of half, he runs it a lot". Laughed my head off.

Doing your job and catching a bomb doesn't get completely overblown praise anymore now that he's at a scrub club.

As critical as I have been with Norman at times he's a pretty handy half in a 15th place Parra outfit, Hoffman doesn't even stand out in a mid-ladder team.
