A question about the brawl.

Yes, but he did connect when the 5 had Blair on the ground. As did Lussick and Foran.

I agree, but they felt his uppercut that opened up Lussick's mouth was significant enough to charge separately

Agree it was a bad (good) shot, but with with all the stern talking coming from Gallop I think they were very lucky not to have been charged for striking as well. To me it's a black and white situation, you either connect or not.

Agree

Blair was suspended last year for 1 match.

Glenn Stewart was suspended in 2009 & 2010

Glen Stewart Grade 5 being a ball bag
Brett Stewart Grade 5 Diabetic rapist

Was surprised Rabs didn't praise him for being the first diabetic fullback to get in a brawl

With all the talk Gallop did about fighting and image and coming down hard, IMO these charges and fines are weak. I expected more players charged and the 4 Manly players that arrived first to be directed straight to the judiciary no grading just a big please explain and a big **** off for a while.

Me too. Worst case scenario is for G Stewart to miss the season, and everyone else back on deck at least for the second week of the semis if not earlier but G Stewart will likely be back for the GF if they make it. Weak as p#ss.

I hate the comment coming from all the ex players " I'd hate to see anyone miss a GF because of this". It shouldn't matter, if these f@(kwits want to punch on this time of the year then the suspensions should be the same.

Just came across my copy of Big League for this round. Cover features Glen Stewart and Adam Blair.

LOLZ!

Totally agree with this

It's either a big concern or it's not

Gallop claims it is a big concern and must be stopped, but the penalties are as weak as p!ss

It's weak because of the 4 Manly players who ran in came for the biff not 1 tried to just break it up. They were like a pack of hyenas, also Glen Stewart absolutely laid into Blair once the pack had him down and gets no striking charge WTF?

50 g fines plus another 50 suspended would be better. And the 4 that ran in initially and gang tackled Blair and layed into him on the ground should cop the same treatment as G Stewart and Blair.
