Most people when he announced his signing were like "meh, he hasn't done anything for 2 years". Now he's strung 3 good games together and suddenly it's "ZOMG the sky is falling, what were you thinking Broncos, booo!"

You should know thats how BHQ works Coxy [icon_lol1. . One minute a player can do no wrong, theyre a superstar.........then a few weeks later everyones calling for their head saying they've always hated them and want them dropped.

I'm blaming his defection on Wayne Bennett, who being the 'super coach' that he is who can 'always get the best out of his players' failed to both recognise that he shouldn't be used as a battering ram, and not being able to get the best out of him. And also for giving him one game in first grade, dropping him for 6 weeks, giving him another, then dropping him again.

He should have pulled his finger out and actually put some effort in earlier but its obvious he has had some other issues going on.

He basically forced the Bronco's hand and when souths came knocking on the door with $750 grand i dont think there was much thinking about what to do involved.

People may think I'm joking, but let's compare Taylor and Thurston as halfbacks.

1. Running game.
Thurston has show and go, sure. Taylor just runs over the top of and through defenders. I'd say he's quicker over 40 metres too. Taylor wins easily.

2. Passing game.
Thurston is adequate, but who can throw a better 3 man cut out than Taylor? He's phenomenal! Taylor by plenty.

3. Defence.
Thurston is a fucking turnstile. Taylor smashes 'em. Taylor by plenty.

4. Kicking game.
Taylor doesn't get to do much but I'm sure he's better than Thurston. However, on evidence, Thurston wins.

5. Organisation.
Frankly they're both shit, but I'll give the points to Thurston.

Therefore, Taylor defeats Thurston 3-2 in the halfback wars.

His attitude was all wrong. He needed to prove that he was worthy of a contract, and he didn't do that. We don't have time for people who don't want to put in the hard yards, or play good football.

Players like Michaels are what we need.
